Strengthening stronger approaches to child and youth mental health
October 25-27, 2019
Kingbridge Conference Centre & Institute
King City, Ontario
The Canadian Paediatric Society, in association with the Canadian Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, is pleased to present its first Lifelong Learning in Paediatrics course on mental health. A combination of lectures, interactive workshops and ‘hot topic’ discussions gives attendees the opportunity to strengthen their clinical knowledge of, and approaches to, mental health issues.
Engage with leading experts on a wide range of topics including conversion disorder/somatization, depression, anxiety, substance use, gender identity issues in LGBTQ youth, and addictive video gaming. Find useful tools for assessment of anxiety, complex ADHD and mood disorders as well as resources to support dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT) and other treatment approaches.
