Last month, the Senate of Canada passed Bill S-210, the Protecting Young Persons from Exposure to Pornography Act, to the House of Commons. Supported by CACAP, this bill is designed to prevent children from accessing online pornographic content by requiring the implementation of effective age-verification methods on all pornographic websites that are accessible in Canada. The first reading of this bill in the House of Commons was completed last week.
